The JBL 4305P Studio Monitor is a completely self-contained powered loudspeaker system. It offers high-resolution streaming audio and excellent connectivity. This is a powered speaker that has really impressed the Upscale team at demos, and we're a hard crowd to please!

JBL's patented 2410H-2 1" compression driver is horn-loaded, offering high accuracy and powerful dynamics at relatively low amplifier power. The 5.25" woofer amazes with the amount and quality of the bass, all coming from the tremendous grip offered by the 300 W of Class-D amplification on board, 150 W per speaker. The high-frequency amp drives the horn tweeter with an ample 25 W, and the woofer has 150 W of power behind it.Twin forward firing ports give great bass response and also make them easy to place in rooms.

Digital Prowess

The built-in streaming DAC offers wired and wireless networking, and includes popular protocols such as Google Chromecast built-in, Apple AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth audio. The DAC is  24-bit/192kHz, so it's able to handle all the high-res files commonly available. The 4305P also offers analog and digital connection, including a professional-grade combination XLR / ¼-inch TRS phono input for use with balanced or unbalanced signals.

In addition to USB and optical, there's an HDMI input, allowing the speakers to be integrated with a home-cinema system. The speakers can be paired for stereo wirelessly, offering up to 96 kHz streaming, or use the included umbilical to use the full 192 kHz capability.
