The AV-5000 Power Center is the most advanced full chassis passive AC power conditioner for high-end audio and video systems. With the AV-5000 you can take complete control over every piece of gear in your system and enjoy breathtaking results from cleaner, unrestricted and safe AC power. While not a power plant, the AV5000 can still handle an entire system's worth of gear, without restricting wattage in any way. The AV-5000 has 10 individually switched PowerPort outlets, grouped into 5 isolated AC power zones called Iso-Zones. Each Iso-Zone has both common mode as well as differential mode AC cleaning that, when combined, lowers noise by an amazing 80dB. Each zone can be separated for a specific group of products to maximize the benefits of electrical isolation. Analog devices such as preamplifiers, turntables, phono preamps could be grouped into Iso-Zone one (for example). The second Iso-Zone could be for digital devices such as CD players, DACs, and video processors. Zone's three, four and five could handle either multiple powers amplifiers, receivers, or integrateds, as well as projectors, TV's and RPTV's. And of course any zone can be used to power a PS Audio Power Plant to further ensure total perfection in the power received by your components.

All Iso-Zones are actually identical circuits, and the separation with regards to analog and digital are for reference only. One of our favorite features of the AV-5000 is that you can use any of the five zones to in any unique configuration that is applicable to your particular situation.

For the safety of connected equipment, the AV-5000 features 7344 Joules of spike protection as well as fully automated over/under voltage control for surges.
