Revolutions are born in bold ideas. In true PrimaLuna fashion, the stunning ProLogue Classic CD Player will revolutionize the audio industry by introducing the world's first tube-based data clocking device: the SuperTubeClock™.

By incorporating a low-noise mini-triode vacuum tube into the digital clock, this boldly conceived design provides vastly superior resolution, detail retrieval, improved clarity, increased definition and detail from top to bottom.

The ProLogue Classic is a true dual-mono design, right down to the dual vacuum tube rectification - another first in a CD player. The power supply is adapted from the award winning ProLogue Three preamp. High quality resistors, mosfets, and Solen capacitors yield superior transient response, detail, and channel separation.

The ProLogue Classic CD Player comes equipped with:

True Dual Mono ouput stage using one 12AX7 and one 12AU7 per channel.
Vacuum tube rectified power supply adapted from the award-winning ProLogue Three preamp that incorporates eleven separate power supply regulation circuits.
State-of-the-art Burr Brown SRC4192 24bit/192kHz upsampling circuit and Burr Brown PCM1792 DACs.
The SuperTubeClock™.. An ultra-low jitter clocking device that replaces the solid-state oscillator with a vacuum tube. Yields incredible detail retrieval and dynamics throughout the entire audio spectrum.
Premium parts including polypropylene coupling caps, triple pi power supply filters, custom designed isolation transformers which separate the analog and digital devices, Resulting in decreased signal degradation and improved sonics from top to bottom.
Beautiful heavy-gauge anodized brushed aluminum remote control. Controls all important CD operations and will even control functions on the DiaLogue components. Comes with rubber rings on both ends to protect furniture.
Chassis made of finely finished heavy gauge steel, and five step automotive quality finish. Each coat hand rubbed and polished. Removable tube cage included no charge.
Conservative design runs tubes easy for long life.

Limited to original purchaser. This warranty is for the sole benefit of the original purchaser of the covered product, and may not be transferred to a subsequent owner
This warranty is subject to conditions and limitations, as follows: This warrantly is void and inapplicable if the product has not been used in accordance with the instructions found in the owner's manual, or if it has been misused, abused, damaged by accident or neglect, or in transport once in possession of purchaser. The warranty is also void if the product has been tampered with or has been repaired or modified by anyone other than PrimaLuna USA, or its specifically authorized representatives.
If this product contains material, manufacturing, or workmanship defects, it must be packed in orginal packaging and returned to PrimaLuna USA or its authorized representative via insured freight, at the owner's expense. Returned products must be accompanied by written description of the defect, and a return authorization number (available from PrimaLuna USA). Upon receipt of the defective product, PrimaLuna USA or the authorized representative agrees to repair the product without charge for parts (except vacuum tubes if the unit is more than 6 months old), or labor. The product will then returned via prepaid, insured freight, with carrier at the sole determination of PrimaLuna USA, or the authorized representative. This constitutes the purchaser's sole remedy.

Purchased from Kevin about 3 months ago and with stock tubes just blew me away. Installed NOS rectifiers, 12AX7''s and 12AU7''s and my other high dollar cd player is in a box never to come back out. Clean, detailed, organic and 3d sound that will rock your world. Tons of Resolution but oh so musical as well. Beg, borrow or steal the money to get your hands on one of these before Prima Luna wakes up and starts to charge 5K for it. Even at 5K it would be worth every penny.
